Mike Wallace brings over 27 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and a proven record in management to his role as vice-president at BIS Salamis, Inc. His experiences range from a series of Inspection / QC positions on North Sea offshore platforms in the late 1970’s, thereafter to the early 1980s where he progressed into business development, systems consultant and senior management roles. Included in this career span Mr. Wallace also owned and directed his own offshore service company, which he developed into a successful operation culminating in its sale in 1988.
Mr. Wallace has been living in Houston, TX for over 10 years. He gained his education in the UK at Aberdeen College where he graduated with a degree in Business Science. He also attended Robert Gordon University where he earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management. Mr. Wallace’s initial employment in the United States involved leading a new start-up venture for a UK-based company. His involvement with the business culminated with its sale in 2005 after developing it into a successful entity.
Mr. Wallace’s industry qualifications are the result of several credits obtained in the area of inspection and quality assurance. A Certified Lead Auditor, Mr. Wallace also possesses professional memberships to both The Institute of Quality Assurance and The Institute of Safety and Health. He also received a National General Certificate for Safety, Health and Welfare.
